Sture's House

As one certainly would have expected, the Nordholms have a very nice house at the top of a hill in a village of about 10000. Here is a front view of the house.









Here is a view of the rear garden. When I first arrived, Lena was relaxing in a lounge in the sun by reading a book. Later on Sture and I cleaned the mushrooms Lena and Sture had collected on our walk outside here on the garden table. In the event that you were wondering, how do you clean field mushrooms: firstly you brush off (with a pastry brush in our case) all of the dirt from the cap and stem, and then you cut off that bottommost portion of the stem that is either discolored or to which the dirt still clings to it.


Here is a birdhouse given to Lena and Sture on their 60th birthdays by their former students.

















I have a very comfortable room on the upper floor. It looks like it is Johannes' old room. It is very nicely decorated with pictures, Australian memorabilia, and books.
